    Short Bio

    Vincent Peyrègne took up duties as Chief Executive Officer of the World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers (WAN-IFRA) in October 2012. Prior to joining WAN-IFRA, he worked as ministerial adviser for the French Minister of Culture and Communication. From 2004 to 2008 he was Head of Development at Edipresse Publications SA in Lausanne (now Tamedia), with responsibility for consumer insights and editorial marketing research. In 1997, he established Ifra South West Europe, the Ifra regional subsidiary with responsibility for the French and spanish-speaking regions, which he headed for seven years. Before joining Ifra for the first time, he worked as senior advertising sales manager at the business daily La Tribune Desfossés in Paris. He began his professional career working at various French media organisations including national dailies like Libération, regional news organisations like Groupe Sud-Ouest in the late 90s. Vincent is a co-founder of the French chapter of SND (Society for News Design), since several years a member of ESOMAR and INMA, a former member of the REMP-WEMF Research Committee (advertising media research) in Zürich. Honors: Officier des Arts et Lettres France, 2012.
