Short Bio
Löffler’s expertise is in process and workflow analysis as well as system selection for publishing systems. This includes editorial and advertising as well as content management, asset management and archives. He also represents WAN-IFRA in the IPTC (NewsML) and the AdsML Consortium.

Short Bio
Moritz is working for WAN-IFRA since 2004 and is the responsible manager for consulting activities. He manages a pool of internal and external experts and carries out consulting projects that fall into his area of expertise. He covers a variety of quality, investment, and process issues for publishers and printers. Sometimes he uses his knowledge gathered in many projects also for training activities. After his studies of print plant management Moritz first worked as researcher at Fraunhofer Institute for Visual Computing. Afterwards he was the responsible COO of a large regional newspaper in Germany.
> German: Moritz Schwarz ist seit 2004 bei WAN-IFRA tätig und leitet die Beratungsaktivitäten. Er managed einen Pool interner und externer Experten und führt auch selbst Beratungsprojekte durch, wenn sie in seinen Fachbereich fallen. In Beratungsprojekten befasst er sich hauptsächlich mit Investitions-, Produktionsprozess- und Qualitätsfragen für Verlage und Druckereien. Als Trainer nutzt er Erfahrungen, die er bei vielen Projekten für viele unterschiedliche Zeitungen im In- und Ausland sammeln konnte. Nach seinem Druckereitechnik-Studium war er zunächst als wissenschaftlicher Angestellter im Fraunhofer Institut für Graphische Datenverarbeitung tätig und anschließend als Technischer Leiter für die Herstellung einer große deutsche Regionalzeitung verantwortlich. -

Specialises in all areas of production, advising publishers on everything from prepress to printing, carrying out research, and responsible for organising the International Newspaper Color Quality Club (INCQC).
