A printing plant can become a member of the Star Club. This award is presented to a company in recognition of outstanding printing quality if it achieves 5 or more stars by participating successfully in the International Newspaper Color Quality Club or by obtaining WAN-IFRA certification for standardised printing.

Certificate for Standardised Printing
WAN-IFRA has carried out quality certification since 2005. The performed quality analysis is primarily based on the ISO 12647-3:2005 coldset offset newspaper quality standard and other quality related standards (ISO 12647-1, ISO 3664, ISO 5-3, ISO 5-4, ISO 2846-2, ISO 12635, IFRA-standards) for newspaper production.
