Peter Kirwan’s relationship with Goss newspaper equipment spans more than 4 decades and extends to the busiest period of technology transfer the industry has known.

Apprenticed as a printing engineer in 1971, he studied offset printing, platemaking and camera operation. As a specialist in Goss press installations and training, he was involved in the transition from letterpress to offset in many newspapers throughout Australia.

In 1983 he was appointed as national product manager for newspaper products and was responsible for the sale of Goss presses and associated equipment throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Appointed as director of Goss Graphic Systems Australasia in June 1997 he had the responsibility to establish the Goss operation in Melbourne to support the industry throughout Australia and New Zealand as well as support to the Asian region.

In 2001, Peter was appointed to Vice President, Asia Pacific and he now has responsibility for press sales from Pakistan in the west to Japan in the east and all point between.
