Mike Shaw leads comScore’s Media Analytics team in Europe, dedicated to helping comScore's clients improve their online and offline marketing efforts through the quantitative analysis and interpretation of comScore's robust online behavioural databases.

Mike leads comScore’s advertising effectiveness work in Europe, focused on helping advertisers, agencies and publishers move towards measurement beyond click-through rates and focusing on how online ads are really performing. Mike is co-author of the 2010 comScore ‘How Advertising Works in Europe’ paper, and was nominated as a “Great Mind” by the Advertising Research Foundation. Additionally, Mike regularly presents comScore’s data and analysis to industry audiences such as the IAB and IMRG, and at conferences such as Internet World, ad:tech and iMedia.

Prior to joining comScore, Mike spent seven years with Forrester in the U.K. from 1999 working with the largest media organisations such as Yahoo!, News Corp and BBC to develop both business strategies and technology platforms for online services. Mike holds a B.A in Business and Finance from Brighton Business School.
