Marek managed The Project of Integration and Reform Sales Team of "Gazeta Wyborcza". In April 2006 he took up the position of Head of Sales for the whole country. He serves as a member of the Management Board of Trader.com (Polska), subsidiary of Agora.
Marek joined Agora in 1990, initially as a Sales Representative, and was later promoted to the post of Classified Product Manager. In 1992 and 1993 he set up and was the head of Market Research Department. Between 1993 and 1996 Marek was responsible for marketing and sales in Warsaw branch of "Gazeta Wyborcza". At that time he was involved in establishing National Readership Survey in Poland. From 1996 he managed the Marketing and Promotional Department and, as a Marketing Director in 1998, supervised local sales teams in all Agora's branches. In 2000 Marek was promoted to the post of Local Branches Director and was responsible for all publishing, marketing and advertising business on the local markets.
Marek is a member of the International Advertising Association.
