Marcus S Tan has over two decades of ad tech experience spanning from traditional broadcast to new digital media such as Media Corporation of Singapore, Travelocity, Nokia and Blackberry. Most recently, he was PubMatic’s Head of High Growth Solutions in JAPAC, and previously, he built a successful Asian operation from the ground up for Smaato as Managing Director, APAC.

As Managing Director, JAPAC at SpotX, the leading global platform for Video Advertising, Marcus will be responsible for SpotX’s expansion in Asia Pacific Region bringing programmatic video, SpotX’s modern ad server and data-driven buying to mobile, connected TV and linear TV technologies which are still largely nascent in Asian countries.

Marcus is self declared “gadget geek” and a strong advocator of digital media transformation promoting and developing the Digital ecosystems in Asia.
