Mr. Jeongdo Hong is the Executive Director of JoongAng Media Network (JMnet hereinafter), the largest media group in Republic of Korea. He is in charge of managing 25 streams of media platforms, including newspapers, TV broadcasting, magazine publication, book publishing and Internet/mobile service.

Since he joined the JMnet in 2005 as a member of the Strategic Planning Office, he has developed overall corporate strategies for this leading media group. In year 2009, he supervised the ambitious project of JoongAng Ilbo(newspaper) to change its printing formation to Berliner, which was a first in all of Asia. In 2010, he opened a portal website, ‘JoinsMSN.com’, as well as the "JoongAng Ilbo App' for the tablet PC.

In 2011, Mr. Hong this time led a successful merger and acquisition process of two major movie theater franchise branches, respectively called the Megabox and the Cinus. He now, has been focusing his time and energy on the operation of the JTBC, the multiplatform TV network, covering diverse areas from news to entertainment.
