Amit joined HT Media in 2005 in the Marketing function. He played a key role in the Mumbai Launch of ‘Hindustan Times’ and then moved on to Head the ‘Hindi Business’ where he turned around the business. His current assignment is ‘Business Head - Digital at HT Media’.

In his previous roles, Amit has worked with Whirlpool India as Director -Marketing for the Laundry category. Amit began his career in 1993 with Asian Paints.

He is a Chemical Engineer from IIT – BHU, Varanasi and Post Graduate in Management from IIM- Lucknow.
