Introduction to Event
New technologies constantly compel us to re-invent the way we live, work, interact, and play… And the rate of change is increasing exponentially! News media companies are plunged into the midst of this perfect storm as the digital revolution directly affects the way content is consumed, produced, distributed and monetized on a growing variety of media platforms.
Through case studies, thought-provoking presentations and discussions with experts, Publish Asia 2014 will help publishers and media executives keep their finger on the pulse of the disruptive innovations that are currently challenging news-media economics.

This conference for senior management executives aims to cover business issues, trends and case studies that are current and relevant to Asian publishers. The objective is to provide tangible ideas from around the world that can help position your media company for growth. It will cover topics such as the resilience of print, online video monetization, digital printing, revenue streams diversification or paywalls 2.0.
2. Advertising Summit Asia
Advertising, the lifeblood of newspapers, is undergoing a radical transformation. This event is meant to provide an understanding of the changes through case studies and to demonstrate how media companies can benefit from these changes. Hot topics will be programmatic advertising with real-time bidding, ad networks, native advertising and branded content but also sales strategy for print and online portfolio or Big Data and analytics.
3. Newsroom Summit Asia
The Newsroom Summit will tackle the problems and challenges facing editors, managing editors, news editors, chief reporters and all those who are involved in leading and managing newsrooms in a multiple media environment. Topics discussed will include drone journalism, the rise of sponsored content, re-engineering journalism, surveillance & security and audience engagement.
5. Learning Workshops
One day in-depth learning workshops on specific topics that are of interest to newsroom, digital media, advertising and management executives will be offered.
Vendors of services and equipments to the media industry will showcase the latest in technology and services offerings.
7. Networking Events
A Welcome Reception will follow giving further opportunity to unwind and meet fellow professionals on April 23 (venue to be confirmed). The winners of the prestigious Asian Media Awards will be presented at the gala dinner on 24 April 2014.
