Introduction to Event
Digital Media Asia 2014 gathered 280 media executives and 37 speakers from 30 different countries. Taking inspiration from the much discussed New York Times Innovation Report's key recommendations, Digital Media Asia 2014 showcased some of the hottest international trends in digital media.
Media executives from around the globe shared their best practices insights on online content monetization, digital advertising, social media, tablet publishing, big data, and other recent digital innovations.

Digital Media Asia (DMA) has since its launch in 2009, grown to become the largest new media conference dedicated to the news publishing industry in Asia. Digital Media Asia Expo
The Digital Media Expo will be held in Orchard Ballroom, level 3 of Orchard Hotel Singapore from 18-19 November. With table top displays, vendors of services and equipment will be able to highlight their offerings to the decision makers in the digital media space. More information, available here.
Digital Media Asia Hack 2014
WAN-IFRA will organise a 3-days hackathon in the run up to DMA 2014. This event is held in partnership with the WAN-IFRA/ Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Newsplex Asia. The hackathon will challenge teams from across Asia to come up with innovative solutions on Content Discovery and how to package and distribute news content in attractive forms for the digital native generations. The winners of the DMA Hack 2014 will present their solutions at DMA 2014.
DMA also offers a one day in-depth executive masterclass on 20 November that is designed for the top management and digital news media senior executives. There will also be two days in-depth masterclasses taking place on 20-21 November with specific topics such as: Every page is a homepage; Unlock the power of mobile storytelling; The homepage: Creating an engaging cross-platform experience; Mastering the building blocks of mobile video.
