Scoopshot - crowdsource your news photos

Scoopshot is a disruptive digital service that changes the way media companies work with photos. The Scoopshot photo crowdsourcing application enables smartphone owners to become freelance photographers for media companies. Users can take newsworthy photos and send them to the service through the Scoopshot mobile application, and sell them at a set price. Journalists writing editorials, can purchase the photos at the price the photographer has set.  Alternatively, editors can send location based tasks to the mobile users via the interface at a price determined by the media. This way media can incentivize and activate the scoopshooters locally, regionally and globally to get content from a desired scene or event. Besides media, the Scoopshot photo crowd-sourcing application can be used for marketing, listing, promotion and activation purposes. Scoopshot recently signed a multinational agreement with Metro International, the free daily newspaper available in more than 100 cities around the world. In our case presentation we share the success story of Metro's progressing rollout using Scoopshot crowdsourcing photography.
