Being the largest newspaper group in Latin America, OEM takes pride in its mission to contribute to the improvement of society by creating, gathering and analyzing news. The organization strives to always provide objective information from reliable sources with high-quality content.

With the introduction of a new website, El Sol de Mexico continues to fulfill its mission - now, with a faster, more intuitive and mobile-friendly news site.

More reader involvement
User-friendliness and engagement are paramount on the new site. In this article, El Sol de Mexico guides readers through the new site design and features. Strategies for reader engagement are among El Sol de Mexico's highest priorities, and the new site illustrates several examples, including the publishing of reader polls, a Facebook commenting feature on every article, plus fast and easy social media sharing possibilities.

Many more launches to come
El Sol de Mexico is the first of more than 40 sites that will be powered by Escenic's enterprise-level content management system. OEM is also finalizing a move to a full suite of CCI publishing solutions for its vast number of publications. Working in tight partnership, OEM, Escenic and CCI are developing a prosperous and innovative future for this giant Latin American media house.
