WAN-IFRA is saddened to inform the newspaper community that Harry Bouwman, Head of Editorial R&D at Dagblad De Telegraaf, passed away on Monday, 23 January 2012.

Harry Bouwman was long-term Chairman of WAN-IFRA’s Advisory Council (since 2007) and European Committee (since its foundation in 2004) and a well-known, highly respected industry expert.

After his election as Chairman of the Advisory Council he said: "I feel honored by this election. [There is] no better place to contribute to the industry than within IFRA."

We from WAN-IFRA share our deepest sympathy with his family.

The funeral took place on Monday, 30 January 2012 in Amsterdam.
