A major power outage in Zurich on Thursday, 26 January 2012, stopped production at Ringier for two-and-a-half hours. "Despite moving to a provisional newsroom in Zofingen and the best efforts of our IT and editorial personnel, there was not enough time to get out Blick am Abend on time", according to a Ringier press release.
