Article ID:

WAN-IFRA’s South Asian Newspaper Directory is the result of close to a year of work collecting the data of South Asian News publishing industry. It lists the data of infrastructure – press, prepress and mailroom equipments used in various newspapers as well as a comprehensive list of suppliers of various products and services in the South Asian region.

There has always been a demand from WAN-IFRA members for such a publication and the WAN-IFRA South Asian Newspaper Directory will serve this purpose. Apart from the listing of infrastructure, the directory also provides data about key personnel and department heads of different media houses. The section on suppliers will help the newspapers to connect with the vendors in each region.

The directory was first published in print in March 2011 and is now available online.
